DC Marketing Pro's Monday Marketing Minute

DC Marketing Pro’s Monday Marketing Minute, is a weekly feature that provides interesting and insightful marketing information, written to be read in a “minute.”  We start off each week publishing a nugget about a marketing trend, an interesting marketing quote or relevant marketing article.

Here is your August 19th Monday Marketing Minute:

Is your mobile marketing plan ready for the 2013 holiday season?  It may only be August, but mobile commerce is predicted to skyrocket and set new records this holiday season.  Mobile Commerce Daily forecasts that at least 20% of all purchases made on Black Friday will be from a mobile device, up from 16% in 2012.

So how does that affect business in the Washington DC area?  It means mobile should be included in your marketing mix.  Don’t wait to start thinking about mobile, begin now!  Waiting until the holiday season to start having a mobile presence won’t be as effective as starting now and maintaining that presence throughout the 2013 holiday season and beyond.

Mobile is here to stay.  Capitalize on it with an effective mobile marketing strategy.  Mobile marketing in DC gives you the ability to reach your target audience everywhere they are and to interact with both current and prospective customers.  We recently wrote two Monday Marketing Minutes about mobile marketing that will give you additional facts, information and ideas for creating and/or perfecting a mobile marketing campaign for your business. Check them out here:
